Assistant Professor

Xindi He is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Scheller College of Business, Georgia Institute of Technology. He received his Ph.D. in Financial Economics (joint program) from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and Kenneth C. Griffin Department of Economics in 2023. He graduated with a B.A. in Economics from Guanghua School of Management, Peking University in 2018.

 

His research focuses on the interactions between asset prices, investor behavior, and real activity. He is interested in a wide range of topics from investor characteristics to firm decisions, and from beliefs under information asymmetry to preferences with psychological bias. For each of these topics, his research aims to unveil the financial and macroeconomic consequences of the co-existence of full and limited rationality.
